About The Programme

This programme aims to strengthen students’ professional competency and broaden their strategic and global perspective. Graduates will become well-equipped professionals capable of handling wealth management issues in today’s complex business environment.

Programme Intended Learning Outcomes (PILOs)

  1. Critically evaluate the contemporary wealth management issues using relevant theories and practices.
  2. Apply global transferrable skills in wealth management to address opportunities and problems faced by individuals as they present themselves in real-life situations.
  3. Formulate financial planning and wealth planning strategies with consideration of wealth management practices.
  4. Communicate effectively as a business executive with people in the same and different disciplines in the context of wealth management.

Entry Requirements

MPMWMF applicants to the programme must satisfy the following entry requirement:

  • a recognised Bachelor’s degree; and
  • applicants must meet the following English language proficiency requirements if their Bachelor’s Degrees or equivalent qualifications did not adopt English as the medium of instruction.

In addition to the 36 credit-units (or 24 credit-units for Pathway 1), students will need to complete additional courses required by the School after assessing their academic backgrounds, results in the admission tests, language proficiency and other relevant factors in order to facilitate effective learning of Master’s degrees in business-related areas. The specific requirements will be stipulated in the offer letter.

DURATION OF STUDY

Full-time and part-time students can normally complete the Master’s programmes in 18 and 30 months respectively. The minimum study duration for full-time students of the Master’s programmes is 1 year. The minimum study duration for part-time students of the Master’s programmes is 2 years.

MODE OF STUDY

The courses in the programme will be taught through face-to-face mode.

LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION

The language of instruction for all courses of the programme is English.

Global Immersion Programme

In the era of globalisation, market opportunities and business operations are not restricted by national boundaries. B&A is committed to preparing students for challenges in the international business environment. In view of this, a Global Immersion Programme is designed to provide students with opportunities to study and travel abroad, be exposed to the language of global business, engage with global issues and eventually become an empowered global citizen. The fees for the Global Immersion Programme will be HK$51,330^, which do not include air passage, food, accommodation and other incidental expenses. The tuition fees do NOT include the fees for the global immersion programme. The global immersion programme is compulsory for full-time students while optional for part-time students.

ADMISSION INTERVIEW ARRANGEMENT

Applicants who are deemed to have fulfilled the entry requirements will be invited to attend an admission interview. The interview will be conducted via Zoom. Candidates may be asked to discuss current affairs and/or case analysis for the assessment of their capabilities, such as analytical skills, adaptability, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and their ability to form logical arguments.
