Biography

Dr. Ronald Tsz-Hin Hung holds a PhD in Economics from Hong Kong Baptist University under the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme. He received his MPhil in Economics and Finance and MSc in Applied Economics from City University of Hong Kong, and BA (Hons) in Economics and Finance from Hong Kong Shue Yan University. Before joining the University, he had taught at Hong Kong Shue Yan University, City University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Baptist University. His research interests include big data analytics, machine learning, digital economics, applied econometrics, e-commerce and macroeconomics. His co-authored research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of the Operational Research Society and Pacific Economic Review. Professionally, he has served as an assessor for the Hong Kong ICT Awards and as a reviewer for academic journals including Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services and Pacific Economic Review.
