Biography

Ingrid Lai is an experienced educator with a strong background in Information & Technology in Education. She holds a Master of Science degree in this field from The University of Hong Kong. Prior to this, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), which is ranked among the top public universities in the United States.
 
Ingrid has spent a significant portion of her career working in education and tertiary institutions. Her primary role has been teaching business communication, language, and business ethics. This teaching experience has equipped her with a broad understanding of different subject areas and the ability to engage with students from various backgrounds and learning styles.
 
Her research interests lie in the intersection of student engagement and sense of belonging, with a particular focus on organizational behavior. She is passionate about exploring how sense of belonging can be used to enhance student engagement and organizational dynamics. She is currently pursuing her DBA with a focus on sense of belonging in academia.
