Biography
Mr. Andy LAI is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Global Business and Marketing at Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration, Hong Kong Metropolitan University. He holds an MBA degree from The University of Hong Kong, and also receives a postgraduate certificate from Columbia Business School. Prior to entering academia, Andy has spent the majority of his career developing marketing and brand management strategies for different renowned international financial and health services corporations, as well as advertising firms. His specialties include regional brand management, integrated marketing communication, customer management, and business and proposition development.
Andy is frequently invited by different local universities, NGOs and private organizations as a visiting lecturer, guest speaker, corporate trainer, and panel judge for marketing awards. He is a Fellow Member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM) in the UK, a Senior Member of Hong Kong Institute of Marketing (SHKIM), and also a Member of The International Coaching Federation (ICF) in the US.
In addition to his extensive professional marketing and brand building experience, he is a professionally trained and internationally certified executive coach from the ICF, a certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and a Registered Hypnotist in the US. He has accumulated 600+ certified coaching and consulting hours for senior executives across different disciplines.
