Biography

Dr. Huicai Gao is currently a senior lecturer at the Hong Kong Metropolitan University. She earned her PhD from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, specializing in business intelligence and demand forecasting. She received her bachelor’s degree from Linyi University and holds two master’s degrees from Peking University and Singapore Management University. Her research applies big data and AI techniques to enhance business demand forecasting and survival analysis for small businesses, with strong implications for regional development and spatial planning strategies.
