Efforts made by the OUHK and other organizations to provide barrier-free websites to help bridge the digital divide were acknowledged at the Webcare Award presentation ceremony held on 28 October. Webmaster Mr Albert Tse received the gold prize for Web accessibility on behalf of the University, which also won awards in 2002, 2004 and 2005. The competition was organized by the Hong Kong Internet Professional Association.
