Conquering Cancer: Treatment for Patients and Emotion Management of Family Members

Ms Lau received her Bachelor of Nursing with Honours from the OUHK in 2001. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years and is now Nursing Officer of Department of Clinical Oncology, Tuen Mun Hospital.

 

Ms Lau will talk about different cancer treatments and explain how to overcome the side effects of these treatments, such as lymphoedema. Methods to prevent cancer will also be discussed.

Ms Lau will also explain the importance of emotion management of cancer patients and their family members.

Prof Lee, Honorary Professor of the School of Science and Technology of the OUHK, is currently in private practice as a specialist in pediatrics.
