Alumnus starred in experimental Cantonese opera

Edgar Ng Lap-hei

BA (Hons) in Creative Writing and Film Arts 2016

Since childhood, Edgar has been fond of Cantonese opera and has begun performing on stage at the age of nine. Graduated from The Cantonese Opera Academy of Hong Kong, Edgar has been winner of a number of awards in Cantonese operatic competitions. Recently, he starred in 'Farewell My Concubine' (New Adaptation), a production under the Experimental Chinese Opera Series by Xiqu Centre after his debut performance in 2017.
