Ivan Lai Yin-hong

Alumnus Ivan Lai pursues lifelong learning after graduation and has started a career in the education sector. Recently, he shared his views on learning and ways to enhance logical thinking in his book Thinking, Philosophy and Life.
 


 

Alumnus won Silver Award in International Outstanding e-Learning Awards

Since graduating from the OUHK, alumnus Pang Kin-king has been teaching in a local primary school. Recently, he participated in the International Outstanding e-Learning Awards (2019/20) organized by The University of Hong Kong's e-Learning Development Laboratory and won the Silver Award in the STEM & Computational Thinking Education category. To apply what he's acquired in class, the winning lesson plan will also be made use of in his teaching. 

 

Sharing mother's journey through depression

Alumna Chau Pui-ling and her mum co-authored a book in 2015. This year, two sequels to the book were published, recounting the mother-and-daughter's journey of battling depression.

 


New release of seasoned children's literature writer

 

Pearl Poon Ming-chu

Alumna Pearl Poon Ming-chu and her sister are both veteran children's book writers and have co-authored a number of books. The sister duo's latest publication is a children's poem collection which contains poems written by primary school children and some teaching materials on poem creation for young children.
