Face-to-face postgraduate programme (part-time)

The MSCQACMF and PDQACMF programmes are phasing out starting from the 2021 Spring Term.

Programme description


The PDQACMF provides an early exit point in the MSCQACMF programme suite. The entry requirements for this programme are given in MSCQACMF.

Full-time and Part-time students can normally complete the programme in 1 year and 2 years respectively.

Programme-specific entry requirements:
(a) a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in a related discipline from a recognized institution; or
(b) a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in any academic discipline from a recognized institution plus at least two years' working experience in relevant fields; or
(c) a Postgraduate Certificate in Quantitative Analysis awarded by OUHK, or equivalent; or
(d) a Postgraduate Certificate in Computational Mathematics awarded by OUHK, or equivalent.

Students pursuing this programme must successfully complete any 40 credits* from the following courses:

  MATH S811F Computer Algebra and Simulations (10)
  MATH S812F Computational Methods for Risk Analysis and Decision Making (10)
  STAT S801F Quantitative Methods for Decision Analysis (10)
  STAT S802F Multivariate and Time Series Analysis (10)
