All Computer Engineering programmes, including those with pathways are phasing out starting from the 2021 Spring Term. For new admission, please consider other programmes.
This programme provides comprehensive knowledge of design, along with instruction on how to implement computer systems, networks and the integrated components that make up a computer system. Graduates are qualified to embark on a career as a system designer /integrator; or as a system programmer.
Programme-specific entry requirement:
This programme admits students who are holders of a recognized Higher Diploma in one of the following disciplines:
Students pursuing this programme must successfully complete 50 credits as follows:

Students should consider initially registering for one or two of the following foundation level courses, which count towards qualification.
MATH S122 A Foundation Course in Applied Mathematics or MATH S121 A Foundation Course in Pure Mathematics
SCI S121 A Foundation Course in Physics and Chemistry
IT S123 Introduction to Internet Services and Applications or IT S101 Introduction to Information and Communications Technology
Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computer Engineering (160 credits)
Bachelor of Science in Communications Technology (120 credits)
Bachelor of Science in Electronics (120 credits)
Bachelor of Science with Honours in Electronics (160 credits)
Higher Diploma in Digital Communication (90 credits)
Higher Diploma in Mobile Communications Technology (90 credits)
Diploma in Communications Technology (60 credits)
Diploma in Electronics (60 credits)
