Aims

This course aims to provide students with opportunities to broaden and deepen their knowledge of concepts and theories in the study of international management. It also aims to enhance students' skills in proposing solutions to issues and problems that may arise in international management contexts. This course further aims to develop students’ cultural sensitivity and thus prepares them for professional and managerial positions in an international business environment.

Contact hours

There will be a total of 45 hours, including lectures and tutorials.

Assessment

There are two assignments, class participation and one compulsory oral presentation. The assignments account for 70% of the total course score, the class participation accounts for 10% of the total course score, and the oral presentation accounts for 20% of the total course score. The assignments, class participation and oral presentation are all individual assessment components. Students are required to submit assignments via the Online Learning Environment (OLE).
