Aims

This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the operation of the Hong Kong economy, with particular emphasis on the salient factors affecting its performance.

Banking and financial systems in Hong Kong

Regulating public utilities and competition policy
Labour and employment
Public finance in Hong Kong

Learning support

There will be 10 two-hour tutorials.

Assessment

There are four assignments and an end-of-course examination.
