Aims

This course aims to enable students to identify the major factors that limit the translation of efficacy trials to effective health programmes and describe the role of complementary research methods in developing evidence-based health programmes and policies. It empowers students to develop research questions, frameworks, study designs and measures appropriate for implementation science, characterise the uses and examine the evidence for implementation strategies commonly used in global health, and apply methods for developing, optimising, adapting, specifying and matching strategies.
