Aims

The course aims to introduce students to the major concepts and theories of globalisation, as well as the social and cultural dimensions of globalisation. It also aims at enabling students to critically engage with competing perspectives of globalisation, evaluate the effects of globalisation on poverty and national/local cultures, and analyse the impacts that globalisation has made on the state and its conventional functions.

Assessment
