    Great Speakers Series  
   

The OUHK Great Speakers Series is a distinguished public lecture series featuring prominent speakers from various sectors. Through broadcast as part of the Open for Learning programme on TVB Pearl, it is accessible by all in Hong Kong, turning all of Hong Kong into an OUHK lecture hall.     RIBiLT Distinguished Professor workshop and seminar  
   

Prof. Ernesto Macaro, Director of the Department of Education, University of Oxford, will visit the OUHK as a Distinguished Professor of the Research Institute for Bilingual Learning and Teaching (RIBiLT) in May. During his stay, Prof. Macaro will host a workshop and a public seminar on English medium instruction.

    2017 International Conference on Open and Innovative Education (ICOIE 2017)  
   

Openness and innovation are major trends in contemporary education, influencing the whole spectrum of education institutions across the globe. Technological advancements and breakthroughs are bringing about a paradigm shift in contemporary education. Modes of learning and teaching are becoming more open and innovative in terms of time, space, curriculum contents, organization, pedagogy, infrastructure and requirements. This conference will explore key issues of relevant advancements.

      Bachelor of Sports and Recreation Management with Honours  
   

This programme aims to provide quality education focusing on theoretical knowledge and practical skills in areas including business, management, sports and recreation. Through multiple disciplines and a comprehensive work-based learning project, graduates will be developed into professionals who are able to integrate knowledge, skills and experiences from the social and management sciences and the practical world. Such useful learning experiences can be applied to organizations in the sports and recreation industry as well as other sectors and industries.

 
   

  

 
    Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration Master's Programmes  
   

The Master's programmes are designed for practising managers to enhance their knowledge, ability and skills as they prepare for senior managerial positions. Master's level students may choose to specialize in a particular field – accounting, business administration, corporate finance and compliance, corporate governance, global business and marketing or human resource management. The programmes are available in full-time and part-time study modes.

Application deadline for local applicants is 31 July.

 
   

      

 
      Master of Education in English Language Teaching  
   

This is a one-year full-time programme specially designed for postgraduate students to deepen their understanding of applied English linguistics as well as theories and practices of English language learning and teaching. Graduates of the programme will have gained a strong academic foundation in practical English language teaching skills and expertise in teaching English in a variety of contexts.

       Adieu Premiere-cum-sharing session  
   

The Alumni Affairs Office is pleased to present the premiere of Adieu with a sharing session on 26 April (Wed) evening. Directed by alumnus Mr Kenneth Lau (Master of Education, 2010 and Postgraduate Certificate in Drama Education, 2011), the film takes the audience on a reflective journey about life with three touching stories.     Putonghua Association (Alumni) of the OUHK  
   

The Putonghua Association (Alumni) is again hosting the Hong Kong contests of the Huayangshaonian Linguistic Arts Tournament organized by the Communication University of China Press this year.
