The OUHK Great Speakers Series is a distinguished public lecture series featuring prominent speakers from various sectors. Through broadcast as part of the Open for Learning programme on TVB Pearl, it is accessible by all in Hong Kong, turning all of Hong Kong into an OUHK lecture hall.     RIDCH seminar series  
   

The emergence of digital technologies and the social phenomenon of globalization have brought significant impacts on the development of humanities. The Research Institute for Digital Culture and Humanities (RiDCH) lecture series represents an effort to investigate and deconstruct these impacts in the fields of world literature, foreign language education and traditional arts. Local experts as well as international scholars from Europe and China are invited as speakers. Interested parties are welcome to join.

Programme seminars will be held, introducing the University's full-time face-to-face undergraduate programmes, admission strategies and information on students' career development.     Knowledge Network Highlight – Personality and Psychology  
   

Individuals react differently to the same event, which will in turn affect their emotions and behavioral motives. Such a difference may have to do with one's personality. The free courseware, Personality and Psychology, will study the relationship between personality and psychological factors. It will first discuss the definition of personality and different character traits, before exploring the factors affecting personality development and related theories.

       Beautiful Life – breast health talk cum make-up workshop  
   

'Beautiful Life', an event combining a talk on breast health and a make-up workshop, was held on 27 September. A healthcare professional from the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation was invited to share information on breast health, while a team of professional make-up artists from the Make Up For Ever Academy hosted a make-up workshop. The participants brought home with practical knowledge on breast health, how to stay in the pink of health and how to apply eye make-up.
