Distance Learning and Part-time Programmes Info Day  
   

Information sessions on distance learning, eLearning and part-time face-to-face programmes will be held, where visitors can meet OUHK teaching staff and browse through learning materials. There will also be advisory services on course selection, credit exemption and financial assistance. Mr Chip Tsao, renowned columnist and broadcaster, will share his views on the change of Hong Kong culture in the past 15 years.

Knowledge Network Highlight – Food Safety  
   

An international fast-food chain restaurant was found to have used rotten meat in their food products. The incident has damaged the confidence of consumers and again raised the concern on food safety. OUHK Free Courseware, Food Safety (in Chinese), helps you understand more on food safety and covers topics on food additives, carcinogenic food, pesticides residue on fruits and vegetables and genetically modified food. 'Alumni Gift for the Future' Fundraising Campaign  
   

The Alumni Affairs Office has just launched a 'Alumni Gift for the Future' fundraising campaign to raise funds towards the Alumni Scholarship and Bursary Fund for financially needy and academically outstanding students. During the period from 1 June 2014 to 31 December 2015, donors whose cumulative donations of HK$8,000 or above will be acknowledged with their names printed on the donor wall at the Jubilee College.
