Study Planning Day  
   

Information sessions on distance learning, e-Learning and part-time face-to-face programmes will be held. Visitors can meet OUHK teaching staff and browse through the learning materials. There will also be advisory services on course selection, credit exemption and financial assistance.

    Donate $6,000 towards OUHK New College Project
─ 'Name a Desk' to show your support
 
   

The OUHK cordially invites all its community members to give us support towards the construction of the New College. To speak our appreciation, the OUHK has launched a 'Name a Desk' fundraising campaign. For each donation of $6,000 or above, the donor's name will be printed on a desk at one of the lecture halls of the New College as an acknowledgement.

 
   

         

 

 
 
  Pathways to obtain the degrees without credit exemption  
   

Applicants who possess a recognized Master's Degree, Associate Degree or Higher Diploma are eligible to enrol in the programmes in relevant subject areas via the new entry pathways. Students are required to complete fewer credits to obtain the degrees without the need to apply for credit exemption.

      Master of Arts in Applied English Linguistics  
   

The School of Arts and Social Sciences will offer a Master of Arts in Applied English Linguistics programme in September. The programme aims to develop in students a broad understanding of the systems of English, a general knowledge of the central issues in applied linguistics, the skills required for conducting research in applied linguistics, and a critical awareness of the role of language in addressing real-world problems in different contexts such as education, translation and legal sectors.

      Workshop on 'I'm a Robotic Engineer!' (in Cantonese)  
   

There is a chance to use your imagination to create a LEGO-made robot and help build the OUHK New College! The Alumni Affairs Office of the Public Affairs Unit will present a fund-raising workshop on 'I'm a Robotic Engineer!' to solicit donations for the OUHK New College Project. As a token of appreciation to those who make a donation of HK$1,000 or more, the Alumni Affairs Office will invite the donor to the workshop together with his/her family members or friends.

Time: 2:30 - 4:00 pm
Venue: Room G29, OUHK Ho Man Tin Campus
Details: Participants will use LEGO bricks and parts to build their own robots and programme them to perform tasks. A certificate of attendance will be issued to each participating group upon completion of the workshop.
