University Updates

Equipped with 360-degree and 270-degree immersive CAVE systems, the new lab is designed to train students of the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons) in Imaging Design and Digital Art programme in imaging technology, moving images, visual programming and so on.

The former will be the first programme to emphasise hybrid interactive entertainment in Hong Kong, while the latter will help ease anticipated manpower shortages brought by major infrastructure projects. Forthcoming 2024/25.

HKMU received the most places (460) of all self-financed institutions for top-up degree programmes under the expanded Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP), bringing the total SSSDP places for 2023/24 up to 1,715.

To promote national education, HKMU raises the national flag every day and holds flag-raising ceremony every Monday and on other momentous occasions, including New Year's Day, HKSAR Establishment Day and National Day.
