Information sessions on distance learning, part-time face-to-face and e-Learning programmes will be held. Visitors can meet OUHK teaching staff and browse through learning materials. There will also be advice services on course selection, credit exemption and financial assistance.

    The OUHK 21st Anniversary Banquet  
   

The 21st Anniversary Banquet was held on 6 November at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre with the presence of over 730 students, alumni, staff and guests. Thank you for all your support!

 
     

   


  
    Lifeline Express Charity Run/Walk 2010  
   

OUHK staff members, students and alumni joined the Lifeline Express Charity Run/Walk 2010 on 30 October. More than 90 OUHK representatives took part in the charity walk, while 20-plus runners from the OUHK Runner Club participated in the charity run. Together they raised a donation of more than $30,000. Council Chairman Dr Eddy C Fong officiated at the event in his capacity as Vice-Chairman of the Lifeline Express Hong Kong Foundation Council.

      Certificate in Basic Chinese for Non-Chinese Speakers (eLearning Programme)  
     

Use Putonghua/Mandarin in daily conversation.
Be able to recognize and read about 200 Chinese characters.
Consist of five courses, the first course starts on 6 Dec 2010.
Students can take single courses according to their specific needs.

The Alumni Affairs Office of the Public Affairs Unit organized three talks (in Cantonese) for free in September and October. They were 'Cancer Prevention and Healthy Eating' by Dr Tony Mok, 'Emotion and Stress Handling' by psychiatrists Dr Dominic Lee and Dr Kathy Chan, and 'Care for the Elderly: Do's & Don'ts' by geriatrics specialist Dr Paul Shea.
