Happenings
28 May (Fri) 2:30-5:15 pm The symposium will present interesting topics showing how metrology plays its role in our daily life. It will also report recent developments in the transformation of the International System of Units (SI) in adaptation to the digital world led by the International Committee for Weights and Measures. (To be conducted in Cantonese)
28 May (Fri) 5:00-6:00 pm The seminar will introduce the newly released Chinese and English Learner Language (CELL) Corpus built with Research Grant Council funding.
23-25 Jun Organized by the Public and Social Policy Research Centre (PSPRC), the conference will explore issues pertaining to housing and ageing policies in European, American, Asia Pacific and Chinese societies.  
5-7 Jul Openness and innovation are major current trends in education, influencing the whole spectrum of education institutions across the globe. New curriculum and pedagogical approaches are bringing about a paradigm shift in contemporary education. Modes of learning and teaching are becoming more open and innovative in terms of time, space, curriculum contents, organization, pedagogical methods, infrastructure and requirements. Over 100 participants from over 20 countries or regions will share their relevant research and good practices at this conference.

Campus Updates
The unit was named after the parents of Court member Dr Gerald Siu Chi-shing, who has generously donated HK$8 million in support of the construction of the OUHK Jockey Club Institute of Healthcare and the University's general development.
In an effort to foster communication with students, Prof. Paul Lam Kwan-sing - along with members of senior management - met with over 100 student representatives shortly after taking office.
With 'Hereafter', Lui Wai-hang and Wong Wun-ki won an honorable mention in the Taiwan International Student Design Competition, followed by the Hong Kong Merit Award in the 22nd DigiCon6 ASIA Awards.
