    Support 'Lifeline Express Charity Run/Walk 2010'  
   

The University has been invited by Lifeline Express to join their Lifeline Express Charity Run/Walk 2010, which is aimed at drawing Hong Kong people's concern for underprivileged cataract sufferers in China and raising funds for Lifeline Express Eye Hospital Trains. All OUHK staff, students and alumni are welcome to join. The University will provide transportation between Homantin campus and the starting point, OUHK T-shirts and souvenirs to all participating OUHK members.       Handbell Concert to raise fund for scholarships and bursaries  
   

To solicit donations for the OUHK Alumni Scholarship & Bursary Fund, the Alumni Affairs Office of the Public Affairs Unit will organize a handbell concert presented by Hong Kong Handbell Academy on 13 Nov. Every donor who has contributed HK$200 or more will receive two free concert tickets. All donations will be matched on a dollar-for-dollar basis by 'Mr Vincent Woo Matching Donation Fund'.

      Fundraising for alumna Ms Tsang Yee Lai  
     

Higher Diploma in Nursing graduate Ms Tsang Yee-lai lost her husband Mr Fu Cheuk-yan (also OUHK distance learning student) in the Manila tragedy. The Association of Hong Kong Nursing Staff has rolled out a fundraising campaign for Ms Tsang and her son and daughter. Those who would like to support the campaign may deposit donations into the designed bank account.
