Notebook Program 2013  
 

The 'Notebook Program 2013' is organized by the Students' Union and co-organized by the Information Technology Unit. Selected notebook models from three vendors, namely, Fujitsu, Apple and Lenovo, will be available for sale at discounted prices to students, staff and alumni.

    Master of Language Studies (Chinese Linguistics)  
 

This programme is specially designed for those with a strong interest in Chinese linguistics. It is particularly suitable for Chinese language teachers and professionals of related areas with its specialized research and study on the Chinese language. Recognized by the Education Bureau as a major language degree, the programme offers two pathways for entry.
 

 
   

  

 
         
    Bachelor of Science in Design and Innovation  
 

This is a top-up distance learning degree programme specially designed for holders of a Higher Diploma or an Associate Degree in design who are currently working in relevant industries. In the programme, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills in design and innovation at a more advanced level. They will receive a recognized degree upon completion of three courses.  
 

 
   

  

 
         
  Certificate in Basic Chinese for Non-Chinese Speakers (e-Learning programme)  
   

  Use Putonghua / Mandarin in daily conversation.

 
   

  Be able to recognize and read about 200 Chinese characters.

 
   

  The programme comprises five courses and students can take single courses according to their specific needs.

 
   

  No entry requirement except that learners should be proficient in English which is the learning medium.

 
   

  The next course will commence on 7 October. Application deadline is 27 September.
