The Research Institute for Bilingual Learning and Teaching (RIBiLT), under the School of Education and Languages (E&L) at Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU), successfully hosted the International Symposium titled “Transforming TESOL Teacher Education: Humanistic Approaches to Technology and Pedagogy” on 20 and 21 January.

The Research Institute for Bilingual Learning and Teaching (RIBiLT), under the School of Education and Languages (E&L) at Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU), successfully hosted the Symposium on Language Development in Chinese-speaking Populations with Special Needs on 1-2 August.

In collaboration with Heep Hong Society, the School of Education and Languages of Hong Kong Metropolitan University co-organised a seminar to explore the challenges and opportunities of on-site pre-school rehabilitation services.

The Hong Kong Mathematics Education Conference 2025 (HKMEC 2025), co-organised by the School of Education and Languages of Hong Kong Metropolitan University and the Hong Kong Association for Mathematics Education, was successfully held on 13 June at the HKMU Jockey Club Campus.

Thirteen HKMU students were recognised for their exceptional teaching skills and passion for education at the 12th Hong Kong Outstanding Prospective Teachers Award.
