Since 2014, the Government has provided competitive funding for research through the Research Grants Council (RGC). The OUHK has established five research institutes and has made significant progress in research development. We have been the only institution in the self-financing degree sector to continuously receive funding from the major competitive funding scheme \u2013 Institutional Development Scheme for four years, and over 30 research projects have got RGC funding.\r\n\r\nBesides conducting research through RGC funding, the OUHK supports staff to apply for other external research funding. The University also provides various types of internal funding for research to support staff projects. The number of publications have also been increasing.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
