Three students from the School of Science and Technology, Liu Yuhang, Jiang Haodong and Imran Mohamed Maheen Mohamed, teamed up to join the Huawei ICT Competition 2024\u20132025 in Hong Kong. After undergoing a series of training sessions, and a preliminary contest before a professional judging panel, the team advanced to the finals with 21 other teams and ultimately secured Third Prize in the Computing Track.<\/p>

The competition featured training on the application of hardware and software adopted by Huawei, such as the OpenGauss database, OpenEuler System and Kunpeng System, enabling students to acquire new skills and learn about the latest technologies. A total of 13 local higher education institutions participated in the Hong Kong station competition, with an overwhelming 900 participants.<\/p>

The Huawei ICT Competition is an annual global event designed for students and teachers from colleges and universities. It offers an international platform for competition and exchange, enabling the participants to strengthen their information and communications technology (ICT) knowledge, improve their practical skills, and foster innovative mindsets by using the latest technologies and platforms.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
