(BSCHCN)<\/span><\/h3>\n<span class=\"label\">Distance Learning Mode<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\" label\">Part-time<\/span>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"margin-top: 20px;\">This programme aims at producing graduates who are well versed with the principles and application of computing and networking.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Graduates will be equipped with the know-how to apply computing and networking technologies in business and industry leading to careers as computing and networking engineers, analysts, managers and consultants.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The Honours degree programme further equips graduates with in-depth understanding in important areas of computing programming and database systems, computer architectures, systems design, network management and programming.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"title\">Characteristics<\/div>\n<ul class=\"content\">\n \t<li>Multi-exits for reaping your rewards quicker.<\/li>\n \t<li>Credit exemption allowing a shorter time to get a degree.<\/li>\n \t<li>Entry pathways for students with a computing Higher Diploma and Associate Degree to complete an ordinary degree with as few as 40 credits.<\/li>\n \t<li>Distance learning study mode allowing greater flexibility in studying.<\/li>\n \t<li>Open education policy allowing admission of anyone 17 years of age and with a HK local address.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"title\">Programme Structure<\/div>\n<u>Bachelor of Science in Computing and Networking (BSCCN)<\/u>\n<ul class=\"content\">\n \t<li>Complete at least 120 credits as follows:\n<ul>\n \t<li>20 credits from MATHS121 and any 10 credits from FE in Table 1.<\/li>\n \t<li>60 credits from CD core in Table 1.<\/li>\n \t<li>10 credits from D1 elective in Table 1.<\/li>\n \t<li>10 credits from D2 elective in Table 1.<\/li>\n \t<li>20 credits from any Foundation, Middle or Higher courses offered by the University (total credits from Foundation courses should not be more than 40 credits).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<u>Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computing and Networking (BSCHCN)<\/u>\n<ul class=\"content\">\n \t<li>Complete at least 160 credits as follows:\n<ul>\n \t<li>20 credits from MATHS121 and any 10 credits from FE in Table 1.<\/li>\n \t<li>80 credits from CH core in Table 1.<\/li>\n \t<li>10 credits from COMP S411, COMP S491 or COMP S450<\/li>\n \t<li>30 credits from ED or ED-C electives in Table 1.<\/li>\n \t<li>20 credits from any Foundation, Middle or Higher courses offered by the University (total credits from Foundation courses should not be more
