Bachelor of Computing with Honours in Internet Technology (through Pathway 1) (BCITH1)<\/h3>

Distance Learning Mode<\/span> Part-time<\/span> Credit Exemption<\/span><\/p>

This programme is designed for holders of a recognized local Higher Diploma or Associate Degree in Computing to receive 60 credit-units of exemption towards the BCITH1\/BCOMPU1 degrees.<\/p>

Admission Requirement<\/strong><\/h5>

A recognized local Higher Diploma or Associate Degree in Computing or a closely related area, in addition to general university’s requirements.<\/p>

How to Apply?<\/strong><\/h5>
  1. Contact the Computing Programme Team for an assessment of your qualification (or view the list in the previous section)<\/li>
  2. Select suitable courses offered in the coming semester.
    1. Register these courses using Online Application<\/a>.<\/li>
    2. Indicate the “intended programme” to be BCOMPU1 or BCITH1.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>
      Programme Structure<\/strong><\/h5>

      Bachelor of Computing with Honours in Internet Technology (through Pathway 1) (BCITH1)<\/strong><\/p>

      • obtain 63 credit-units as prescribed below, of which at least 24 credit-units shall be at 3000-level and 24 credit-units at 4000-level:
        • 30 credit-units from courses labelled CM and CD in Table 1, of which 24 credit-units must be at 3000\/4000-level;<\/strong><\/li>
        • 24 credit-units from courses labelled EL at 3000\/4000-level in Table 1;<\/li>
        • 9 credit-units of University Core courses labelled UC in Table 1; and<\/li>
        • attain the CGPA for graduation as prescribed in the Regulations for the Award of Undergraduate Degrees.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>
