Welcome to the School of Science and Technology, Hong Kong Metropolitan University.<\/p>

The School of Science and Technology is an important training ground for science and technology professionals. It offers a broad spectrum of programmes in Building Services Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science, Electronic Engineering, Environmental Science, Food Testing, Life Sciences, Testing and Certification, and STEM for undergraduates and postgraduates.<\/p>

We aim at imparting modern scientific knowledge to students and developing their information technology skills, preparing them to become a professional in various science and technology sectors. In addition to fully-furnished laboratories and state-of-the-art facilities enabling students to develop hands-on skills, they also enjoy abundant practical work-study opportunities and participation in field trips and site visits in actual operational environments.<\/p>

The Institute for Research in Innovation Technology and Sustainability (IRITS) was established in 2014 with the goal to strengthen research at the School.
