Summer holiday is coming soon, it is the perfect time for you to enrich yourselves and broaden your horizon! HKMU Student Affairs Office (SAO) is now launching the \u201cHKMU Social Impact Summer Internship Programme 2025\u201d<\/strong>. The programme provides opportunities for full-time undergraduate students <\/strong>who aspire to develop career in the fields of social innovation, environmental protection and sustainability, public services, social diversity and inclusion, curating, and education<\/strong> through placement in 13 organizations<\/strong>. Students can step out of the classroom to experience the influence that various professions brought to contribute to society, enhance their professional skills in the workplace, and can also use this opportunity to build interpersonal networks and prepare for future career development.<\/p>

This internship program is specifically designed for students with less work experience. SAO will provide students with career training workshops \u00a0(e.g. workplace etiquette, video shooting & editing) before the internship. A basic allowance of HK$16,000 will be provided to students who complete the entire internship to cover transportation and meal expenses.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

HKMU Social Impact Summer Internship Programme 2025<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
Target:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/td>
  • All full-time undergraduate<\/strong> students<\/li>
  • Priority goes to non-final<\/em> year<\/em> students or students with less<\/em> working experience<\/li>
  • Priority goes to Arts and Social Sciences major students<\/li>
  • Interested in contributing to the society, especially in the fields of social innovation, environmental protection and sustainability, public services, social diversity and inclusion, curating, and education<\/strong><\/li>
  • Cantonese proficiency<\/u><\/strong> is required for most of the partner organizations<\/li>
  • Participants are expected to attend ALL trainings, events and complete the entire internship programme<\/u><\/strong><\/li>
  • Both local and non-local students are welcome\u00a0<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>
Internship Period:<\/strong><\/td>

17\/6\/2025 \u2013 14\/8\/2025<\/strong><\/p>

Full-time, 5-day work week for up to 59 days<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

Subsidy:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/td>

HK$16,000<\/strong><\/p>

Students who successfully complete the entire programme period with satisfactory performance will receive a subsidy of HK$16,000 directly from the University<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

Scope of Work Duties:<\/strong><\/td>

Project-based work, including but not limited to:<\/p>

  1. Project Management: Assist to overseeing project timelines, coordinating between different teams, ensuring that milestones are met, and managing resources effectively. This role often involves communication, organization, and leadership skills.<\/li>
  2. Customer Support and Success: Assisting customers with their inquiries, troubleshooting issues, providing product training, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills and a good understanding of the company’s products and services.<\/li>
  3. Marketing and Communications: Developing marketing strategies, creating content for social media, managing public relations, organizing events, and conducting market research. This role focuses on promoting the company’s brand and products.<\/li>
  4. Sales and Business Development: Identifying potential clients, building relationships, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
