This comprehensive programme is designed to identify and nurture young individuals who are passionately committed to addressing the climate emergency, achieving carbon neutrality, ensuring a just climate transition, promoting sustainable development, and tackling other critical environmental issues. Our goal is to cultivate the next generation of leaders in climate advocacy.<\/p><p>This tailor-made programme for HKMU undergraduates serves as both a training ground and a climate advocacy campaign incubator. It offers rigorous training, mentorship, and support to dedicated youth eager to launch impactful climate advocacy campaigns within the HKMU community and beyond.<\/p><p>Participants will deepen their understanding of the climate emergency and expand their perspectives on the multifaceted aspects of climate advocacy. They will have the unique opportunity to network with and learn from esteemed local and international climate advocacy leaders. To hone their advocacy skills, students will engage in lectures, workshops, and experiential learning sessions focused on various advocacy techniques.<\/p><p>As a climate advocacy campaign incubator, the programme empowers students to take the initiative in developing their own climate advocacy campaigns, with guidance and support from renowned leaders and CCIL. It aims to equip talented students with the confidence and capability to actively participate in local, national, regional, and global conventions on environmental and social issues. This includes pivotal meetings related to the Paris Climate Agreement, Agenda 2030, and the Sustainable Development Goals.<\/p><p>Outstanding participants will be selected as <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>youth delegates<\/strong><\/span> to represent HKMU at prestigious international climate forums, such as the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Conference of the Parties (COP)<\/strong><\/span> to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Youth4Climate<\/strong><\/span>, and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Asia-Pacific Climate Week<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p><p>You have the power to change the world.
