MTR Student Travel Scheme<\/span><\/i><\/div>

The MTR Student Travel Scheme <\/strong>offers concessionary fares to full-time day course students aged 25 or below. Eligible students can apply directly through the MTR Online Application Platform. There is no need for a hardcopy form or University endorsement. <\/strong>If you are eligible and wish to apply, please note the following:<\/p>

  1. Applicants are strongly recommended to view\u00a0the\u00a0lazy pack<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0tutorial video<\/a>\u00a0before completing the online application.<\/li>
  2. Applications should be submitted ONLINE via the MTR website<\/a> or MTR Mobile App.<\/li>
  3. Applicants are required to upload a valid HKMU Student Identity Card. For new applicants <\/strong>without a student identity card at the time of application, the MTR will accept the Enrollment Certificate of Academic Year 2025\/2026 issued by the university <\/strong>as a special arrangement.<\/li>
  4. Applicants cannot purchase the temporary Student Octopus Card before their application is approved.<\/strong> Therefore, we advise students to submit applications as soon as the online application platform opens to benefit from the discounted fares.<\/li>
  5. To help protect the environment, the MTR encourage you to apply online. Hardcopy applications requiring University endorsement will only be accepted with a strong justification.
