When is the deadline for HKMU Admission Sports Scholarship 2026\/27 application?<\/strong><\/p>

i. For local applicants the deadline is 31 January, 2026. If there are still places after the enrolment period, these places will be opened to subsequent application.<\/p>

ii. For non-local applicants the deadline is 31 May, 2026.<\/p>

What is the amount of the HKMU Admission Sports Scholarship?<\/strong><\/p>

The value of each award is\u00a0up to HK$120,000*\u00a0and\u00a0a\u00a0complimentary\u00a0place in\u00a0University's off-campus accommodation^\u00a0per year.\u00a0Successful applicants may be awarded renewable scholarships in subsequent years of study, subject to satisfactory academic and sports performance at HKMU.<\/p>

*Due to tuition differences, local students will be awarded with HK$80,000 per year and HK$120,000 per year for non-local students.<\/p>

^University's off-campus accommodation is subject to availability and only applies to non-local students.<\/p>

What is the sports level requirement for applying the HKMU Admission Sports Scholarship 2026\/27 application?<\/strong><\/p>

Candidates who have awarded in any competitions from inter-school to international competitions are welcome to apply for the Scholarship.
Candidates who have represented your country in international competitions would have a priority for considerations.<\/p>

Will post-graduate students be considered?<\/strong><\/p>

This scholarship is only available to applicants for full-time Honours or Ordinary Bachelor's Degree programmes.<\/p>

Will I be invited to join interview and skills test?<\/strong><\/p>

We may arrange interview for some applicants, or you may be asked to provide your sports videos.<\/p>

What are the responsibilities and duties for HKMU Admission Sports Scholarship Awardees?<\/strong><\/p>

  1. Train regularly and represent HKMU at USFHK or other competitions in the tertiary education community; and<\/li>
  2. Participate in HKMU events, activities and important meetings as scholarship awardees and help promoting sports in the campus.<\/li><\/ol>

    When will I know the result?<\/strong><\/p>

    i. Successful local applicants will receive offer as below:
    Main round: before February 2026.
    Second round: before June 2026.<\/p>
