The 11th JC Junior Sports Reporters Programme<\/h4>

The 11th JC Junior Sports Reporters Programme, which is organised by The Hong Kong Jockey Club in association with the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, is now open for application.

Since its inception in 2013, the programme has been providing basic training in sports journalism. Through lectures and field practices, including reporting and live webcasts of sports competitions, the programme aims to enhance participants' communication capabilities, foster a professional attitude, instill a sense of responsibility, and encourage them to step out of their comfort zone. We are determined to ignite their interest, unleash their potential, and inspire them to strive for excellence.

The six-month programme will commence in February 2024. Lectures will be delivered by high-calibre instructors and veteran professionals from the journalism and media industry. Field practices will also be provided. Moreover, students with good performance will also be offered opportunities for summer internships in media organisations.

We welcome students from all backgrounds and faculties to apply for this programme. The application deadline is 8 January 2024.
