The first climate action youth entrepreneurship program in Hong Kong comes again!

“Climate Action Recognition Scheme (CARS)” recognizes and invests in innovative and outstanding start-up ideas which address the UN SDG 13 – Climate Action. CARS provide young entrepreneurs who are determined to act on climate solutions by providing: holistic training, mentorship support, publicity and networking, fund up to HK$180,000 or other resources.

This year CARS is honoured to have continued support from HKSTP IDEATION, which supports entrepreneurs to learn the fundamental skills they need to kickstart the business. Teams with ideas or start-ups incorporated less than two year will be assisted for the development of prototype with extra reward up to HK$100,000 upon fulfilment of milestones

League 1 – Idea Stage

What if you have a brilliant idea on combating climate change and you need funding? If you are student of any tertiary institution or alumnus graduated less than five years, join Climate Action Recognition Scheme in Idea Stage League to turn your climate positive idea to into a prototype!

Climate Action Start-up Award

Prize: HK$120,000

Quota: 2 teams

League 2 – Scale-Up Stage

What if you have a start-up aiming to deliver a climate positive vision and you need funding. If your start-up incorporated less than three years or winners of an entrepreneurship or incubation programme, join Climate Action Recognition Scheme in Scale-Up Stage League to scale up your business and facilitate project implementation on combating climate change!
