The HKMU weekend market will be held from 25th to 26th February. In order to let you get prepared, we are happy to invite bazaar planner to introduce the characteristics of bazaar, the points to pay attention to when setting up stalls, as well as selling skills! It will also explain the logistics of the D2 Place market on February 25-26

“Lean startup” is a methodology for developing businesses and products that aims to shorten product development cycles and rapidly discover if a proposed business model is viable. It helps you to develop a business model at least cost & high efficiency.

The venture started from the wish to create a more sustainable home. They upcycle city waste to cultivate nutritious mushrooms in sustainable & low carbon footprint way.

有得玩菇菇團！成功參加將會獲得參觀菇場的機會並親手製作將有機廢物化成養分植料的菇包。創辦人Russell本身為系統工程師，究竟是什麽驅動他隻身創業？他也會跟我們分享他的創業點滴。

Join this tour to find out more about this sustainable mushroom farm! Urban Mushroom team will give you a visit to introduce their values of upcycling coffee waste or other organic waste like wood chips, corn cob, rice bran, rice straw. Learn some more about mushroom and make your own mushroom kit. Russel, the founder of Urban Mushroom, was a system engineer. We can learn about his motivation of starting his own business too.

薈創點將於五月截止申請，如果你打算參加，就要好好把握今次機會向過往薈創點的獲獎隊伍取經！過往薈創點的獲獎隊伍將雲集遇見獨角獸市集，届時會你便可親身跟他們交談，了解贏取十萬創業基金的心得和經驗。

此為 薈創點2022/23的增潤工作坊，薈創點著重體驗和實踐，期望透過課堂以外的學習，全方位啟發同學的創意思維。

Past MetroChallenge awardees will share their success stories about winning the HK$100K implementation fund. This is an enrichment workshop for MetroChallenge 2022/23. MetroChallenge strives to inspire students’ innovation via “Experience” and “Empower” in the way of out-of-the-classroom learning.

– Ways Out 是成立於 2021年的社會企業。他們提供培訓及工作機會給弱勢母親，將家居廚餘升級再造成環保首飾，幫助她們提升技能和取得改善財政狀況的機會。Ways Out is a social enterprise founded in 2021. They provide trainings and job opportunities to underprivileged mothers to upcycle household food waste into sustainable jewelry. The aim is to help them enhance their capabilities and have the chances of improving financial situations. They are funded with an amount totaling HKD$150,000 including SIE Fund.”

Ways Out代表會跟我們分享他們社企理念，包括：家居廚餘升級再造和提供機會給弱勢母親，以及如何在社會責任和盈利間平衡。同時亦會親手造一件環保首飾，之餘同時力撐環保跟弱勢母親！此為 薈創點2022/23的增潤工作坊，薈創點著重體驗和實踐，期望透過課堂以外的學習，全方位啟發同學的創意思維。

The representative of Ways Out will share their company mission, including household waste upcycling and providing job opportunities to underprivileged mothers, how to strike a balance between social responsibility and business profit. Students who attended the sharing session will receive a “Ways Out DIY jewelry kit” to produce your own sustainable jewelry and show your supports to underprivileged mothers.This is an enrichment workshop for MetroChallenge 2022/23. MetroChallenge strives to inspire students’ innovation via “Experience” and “Empower” in the way of out-of-the-classroom learning.
