2025/26 OCA Application (Direct Applicants)

All new Mainland non-local applicants enrolling in full-time undergraduate programmes via Direct Application for AY2025/26 are eligible to apply.

Priority will be given to Year 1 students.

Annual Accommodation Fees in AY25/26: HK$99,200 (HK$8,000 deposit and utilities are included)

Once applicants accept the offer, they will be entering into a year-long commitment. Please note that if a tenant chooses to move out before the end of the tenancy period, no refunds will be provided.

Bed place allocation is subject to availability. If the number of applications for Y83 exceeds the available supply, bed places will be allocated to applicants on a random basis.

Application must be submitted ONLINE by 17 June 2025 (23:59).

Successful applicants should take note of the terms and conditions and must accept the offer by submitting the acceptance letter and paying a full accommodation fee and deposit by stupilated deadline.  Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the offer.

Y83 encompasses a variety of room types, all of which are subject to a standard fee. In the interest of fairness, room assignments are conducted on a randomized basis.

If someone declines the offer and a bed place becomes available to you, you will be notified by email by 5 August 2025.

1. Approval of applications is contingent upon the availability of bed spaces. Please note that the submission of an application form does not guarantee an offer.
2. All fees paid are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to withdrawal from university study, deactivation of studentship, failure to meet admission requirement, and changes in learning and teaching arrangements.
3. The allocation of bed spaces to successful applicants is at the sole discretion of the Student Affairs Office (SAO).
4. Only active full-time undergraduate non-local students for the academic year 2025/26 are eligible for residency. If a resident's student status becomes inactive or suspended, or if the resident withdraws from their studies during the tenancy period, they will be deemed ineligible for residency in OCA(Y83) and must vacate immediately. Please note that all fees paid, excluding the deposit and after deduction of any incurred costs, are non-refundable.
5. Residents are required to commit to residing in the designated bed place for the entire tenancy period.
6. OCA (Y83) enforces their own Rules and Regulations to ensure the health and safety of all residents. All successful applicants must acknowledge and commit to complying with these Rules and Regulations upon acceptance of the offer.
7. In the event of a serious breach of any rule or regulation, the resident's accommodation offer may be terminated immediately without any refund of the accommodation fee. The University reserves the right to reallocate the vacated bed space thereafter.
8. Room allocations are determined through a randomized process. Declining the assigned room is considered giving up the offer. Consequently, no further room assignments will be made for the applicants concerned.
9. The availability of OCA(Y83) may change upon a range of variable factors and is ultimately determined by the University's final decision.
