HKMU Summer Placement Programme at NGO 2023

Summer holiday is coming soon, it is the perfect time for you to enrich yourselves and broaden your horizon! HKMU Student Affairs Office (SAO) is now launching the “Summer Placement Programme at NGO 2023”. The programme provides opportunities for full-time undergraduate students who aspire to develop careers in the social service industry with a chance to be placed at 11 different NGOs. In addition, students could not only gain hands-on work experience by providing a spectrum of social services to the community, but also acquire and master different skills and knowledge during the programme.

SAO would provide students with related pre-placement trainings, such as workplace etiquette, communication and interpersonal skills, etc. A basic allowance covering transportation and meal expenses would be offered to students upon completion of the placement.

Target:

All full-time undergraduate students who are interested in developing a career in the social service industry, especially in the fields of life education, culture, environmental education, food-wise culture, intellectual disability, youth and children services are welcome to join. Cantonese proficiency is required for this programme. Participants are expected to complete all trainings and the entire internship programme.
