HKMU Scholars Ranked World's Top 2% Scientists

Five scholars of Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) have been listed among the top 2% most-cited scientists in the world, according to an annual list released by Stanford University. This international recognition reveals the research excellence of HKMU scholars and the remarkable impact of their research outputs.

The HKMU scholars in the list include Professor Paul LAM Kwan-sing, President of HKMU and Chair Professor of Environmental Chemistry; Professor Ricky KWOK Yu-kwong, Vice President (Students and Support) and Chair Professor of Computer Engineering; Professor Nora TAM Fung-yee, Chair Professor of Environmental Science and Conservation; Professor Gary TSE, Professor at School of Nursing and Health Studies; and Professor Mimi TSE Mun-yee, Professor at School of Nursing and Health Studies.

The list covers about 200,000 most influential researchers globally under 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields. The ranking is based on the bibliometric information from Scopus such as citations and authorship. More information and the list can be accessed here.
