User Guide
This guide outlines how to use the To Teach platform to create lesson plans, generate worksheets from videos, and design subject-specific exercises.
Access To Teach Website
| a. | Navigate to the website: https://www.to-teach.ai/; |
| b. | Click Sign up or Login to register or sign in with a Google account or email address (Note: The free plan allows for the creation of 5 exercises, 3 worksheets, and 2 lesson plans monthly). |
Create a Lesson Plan
| a. | Click Lesson Plan in the top navigation bar and select Create a Lesson Plan; |
| b. | Set the Language of the plan, student Age, and lesson Duration; |
| c. | Enter the Topic of the lesson; |
| d. | Select a Type of lesson introduction (Note: A source document, website, or YouTube URL can be uploaded in the Curriculum/Basis of the lesson plan section); |
| e. | Set the Focus of the lesson from the dropdown menu (Note: The available focus options include presentations, group work, individual work, and creative tasks); |
| f. | Click the Create Lesson Plan button to generate the plan; |
| g. | Click Download as .docx or Share the lesson plan to export the plan or get a shareable link; |
| h. | Click the to teach logo to return to the homepage. |
Generate Worksheet from Video
| a. | Click Tools in the top navigation bar and select YouTube -> Worksheet; |
| b. | Paste a video URL or search term into the Link to video field and click Search; |
| c. | Confirm the video and specify the Language of the video and Language of the worksheet (Note: Specify a topic or add action verbs to guide the worksheet creation if needed); |
| d. | Click Create worksheet to generate the material; |
| e. | Click View Worksheet to open the editor from the confirmation pop-up; |
| f. | Click Add content in the right-hand side editor menu to insert additional tasks; |
| g. | Click Adjust order to re-arrange the different sections of the worksheet; |
| h. | Click Simple English to create a differentiated version of the worksheet with simplified language; |
| i. | Scroll down to the Export section in the editor menu; |
| j. | Select an export format, such as Download as .docx or Download as H5P; |
| k. | Click Share the exercise to generate a direct link or QR code. |
Create a Subject-Specific Exercise
| a. | Click Exercises on the homepage and choose a subject such as Biology or History; |
| b. | Select an interactive format from the list, such as Sort events, Flashcards, or Chat; |
| c. | Provide the necessary topic or content prompts and follow the on-screen instructions to generate the exercise. |
