This guide outlines how to use Ernie to analyse documents, describe images, and summarise video content.

Access Ernie Website
| a. | Navigate to the website: https://ernie.baidu.com/; |
| b. | Click the Login button in the top-right corner; |
| c. | Sign in or register with a Google account. |
Summarise and Analyse Documents
| a. | Click the + icon at the bottom left of the input field to upload a document (Note: Ernie supports various formats, including PDF, DOCX, PPTX, Excel, MP3, MP4, etc.); |
| b. | Input a prompt in the text field, such as 'Summarise the key findings from the uploaded document'; |
| c. | Click the Microphone icon to input the prompt by voice; |
| d. | Press Enter or click the Send icon to submit the request; |
| e. | Review the AI-generated summary or answers in the chat window. |
Describe Images and Videos
| a. | Click the + icon and select the Image or Video button to upload a file; |
| b. | Input a prompt in the text field, such as "Describe the main subjects and activities in this picture"; |
| c. | Toggle the DeepThink(X1 Turbo) or Search function to use the Ernie X1 Turbo model and enable online search (Note: The DeepThink model only supports document and image input); |
| d. | Click the Send icon to receive a text-based description and analysis of the content (Note: Video files must be less than 20 MB in size). |
