    This guide provides step-by-step instructions for transcribing, identifying speakers, summarising audio and video files using Tongyi Tingwu.

    Access Tongyi Tingwu Website

    1. Navigate to the website:  https://tingwu.aliyun.com/home;
    2. Log in or register using an Alibaba Cloud account or phone number;
    3. After logging in, you will be directed to the main dashboard.

    Transcribe Audio or Video

    1. On the main dashboard, click 首頁 (Home Page) from the left-side menu;
    2. Click 上傳音視頻  (Upload Audio/Video File) > 上傳本地音視頻文件  (Upload from local) or 導入阿里雲盤文件  (Import from Alibaba Cloud); (Notes: You can upload up to 50 files.)
    3. Select the original language of the file;
    4. (Optional) Select whether to translate the original language;
    5. Select the number of speakers in the clip for diarisation;
    6. Click the 開始轉寫 (Start Transcription) button;
    7. Wait for the transcription process to complete.

    Speaker Diarisation

    1. On the main dashboard, click 我的記錄 (My History) from the left-side menu;
    2. Click the processed task to open the file's detail page;
    3. Review the automatically applied speaker labels (e.g., "Speaker 1," "Speaker 2");
    4. Click on these labels to manually edit and rename the speakers.

    AI Summary

    1. Select the 章節速覽 (Chapter Overview), 發言總結 (AI Summary), or 要點回顧 (Key Points Review) tab on the transcript page;
    2. Review the chapter-by-chapter breakdown, full-text overview, keywords and action items;
    3. (Optional) Click the copy button in the upper-right corner of the tabs to copy the content to the notes area on the right-hand side of the window. (Notes: You can one-click copy all content to the notes area using the 批量提取 (Batch Extract) button in the top panel.)

    Export and Share

    1. Click the 保存 (Save) button in the left side panel;
    2. Click 導出 (Export) to export in various file formats.
