Student Achievements

With his outstanding talent in writing, Fan Qingqi, student of the Master of Arts in Creative Writing programme, has been selected as one of the 4^th assemblage of contract writers for the China Natural Resources Writers Association (CNRWA). The 4^th assemblage of contract writers consists of 36 members from all over China, selected through a rigorous screening process and deliberation by the executive committee, with a term from 2023 to 2025.

The CNRWA is affiliated with the China Writers Association. It has signed contracts with a number of excellent writers since implementing its writer-contract programme to provide them with growth opportunities and platforms to publish their works on topics about natural resources in provincial-level literary publications and the CNRWA’s journal.

In addition, Fan Qingqi has recently won three literary awards, including the annual best non-fiction award of the fifth “Worker’s Literature Award”, the third prize in the creative category of the fifth “Qiushi Cup” International Poetry Writing and Translation Competition and the recognition award of the sixth “Love for Xitang” Global Poetry Competition, fully reflecting his rich creativity.
