the world, universities are finding their ways to respond to the pervasive applications\u00a0of Generative AI in many spheres of human endeavours, train students for future skills to prepare them for employability, upskill the\u00a0workforce,\u00a0meet\u00a0learning needs of older adults, promote local culture\u00a0and sustainability,\u00a0and numerous other evolving\u00a0demands from the community.\u00a0 At the forefront of responding to these learning\u00a0imperatives are continuing education schools which often represent the most inclusive and innovative force in their universities.\u00a0 In a study undertaken by UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning\u00a0(2023)*, it was found that higher education institutions (HEI)\u00a0with an institutional lifelong learning (LLL)\u00a0policy\/strategy are more likely to have a dedicated LLL unit.\u00a0 This underscores the critical coordinating and professionalising functions of continuing education schools in a find out about\u00a0the different operational\u00a0models that are prevalent in the participants&#8217; contexts as well as the\u00a0challenges and opportunities they\u00a0are\u00a0facing.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>As this roundtable is framed as a global exchange forum, participants from around the world are welcome, and in particular, those from Africa, Central Asia, East Asia,\u00a0South and Southeast Asia\u00a0are represented.\u00a0 The dialogue partner of this roundtable is the Universities Association for Lifelong Learning (UALL),\u00a0which represents
