This conference marks the 5<sup>th<\/sup> global event on senior education organised by AIUTA in the Asia-Pacific region, following successful conferences in Shanghai (2004, 2019), Osaka (2016), and Guangzhou (2013). The theme of the conference is &#8220;Lifelong Learning for Older Adults in the Digital Age.\u201d<\/p><p>AIUTA is an international organisation representing universities for seniors from worldwide, recognized as a significant non-governmental organisation for the third age, with members from five continents. The conference attracts over a hundred representatives from 18 countries and regions (excluding China and Hong Kong), including France, India, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Singapore, Australia, the UK, Portugal, Spain, Canada, Finland, Egypt, South Africa, Bangladesh, and Nigeria.<\/p><p>Notably, there are 23 representatives from Mahatma Gandhi University in India. This University is a top research institution in India (ranked 401-500 in the 2025 Times Higher Education World Rankings) and is the first university in India established for the elderly. Other distinguished attendees include Professor CT Aravindakumar, President of Mahatma Gandhi University; Professor Zhakupova Aigul, Vice President of Ualikhanov University in Kazakhstan; and Professor Akera Ratchavieng, Vice President of Rajamanghala University of Technology Rattanakosin. The delegation from China consists of leading experts and professors from the Open University of China (Beijing), the Guangdong Open University (Guangzhou), and the Shanghai Municipal Institute for Lifelong Education, East China Normal University. In addition, the delegation comprises leaders from the China Association of Universities for the Aged.<\/p><p>Prof. Paul Lam Kwan-sing, President of Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) says \u201cwe are pleased to co-host this signature event and cherish the opportunities it brings to share experiences, inspire innovation, and collaborate for a larger social impact. This conference serves as a platform for us to exchange best practices, initiate new collaborations, and explore innovative research that will shape the future of education for older adults\u201d.<\/p><p>This conference serves as a platform for the Elder Academy at Hong Kong Metropolitan University to showcase its 16 years of experience in offering diverse learning programs to over 17,000 seniors. As a member of AIUTA in the Asia-Pacific region, this conference aims to explore how technology can foster active learning amongst seniors in their third age across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and the Asia-Pacific region. With both Mainland China and Hong Kong are undergoing rapid demographic transition to \u201caged societies\u201d, where the importance of keeping seniors in good health and actively engaged with the community through lifelong learning have become government policy priorities. Concurrently, advancements in technology have rendered digital products accessible to seniors, thereby empowering them to become &#8220;smart seniors&#8221; and to enjoy the conveniences of modern technology. This, in turn, has the potential to bridge the digital divide.<\/p><p>\u9999\u6e2f\u90fd\u6703\u5927\u5b78\u674e\u5609\u8aa0\u5c08\u696d\u9032\u4fee\u5b78\u9662\uff08HKMU LiPACE\uff09\u65bc2025\u5e744\u67081\u65e5\u81f32\u65e5\u806f\u540c\u570b\u969b\u8001\u5e74\u5927\u5b78\u5354\u6703\uff08AIUTA\uff09\u53ca\u4e2d\u570b\u8001\u5e74\u5927\u5b78\u5354\u6703\uff08CAUA\uff09\u8209\u8fa6\u300c\u4e9e\u6d32\u570b\u969b\u6703\u8b702025\u300d\u3002\u672c\u6b21\u6703\u8b70\u662fAIUTA\u5728\u4e9e\u592a\u5730\u5340\u7e7c\u4e0a\u6d77\uff082004\u30012019\u5e74\uff09\u3001\u5927\u962a\uff082016\u5e74\uff09\u53ca\u5ee3\u5dde\uff082013\u5e74\uff09\u6210\u529f\u8209\u8fa6\u5f8c\uff0c\u9996\u5ea6\u5728\u9999\u6e2f\u8209\u884c\u7684\u7b2c\u4e94\u5834\u5168\u7403\u9577\u8005\u6559\u80b2\u76db\u4e8b\u3002\u6703\u8b70\u4e3b\u984c\u70ba\u300c\u6578\u5b57\u6642\u4ee3\u8001\u5e74\u4eba\u7684\u7d42\u8eab\u5b78\u7fd2\u300d\u3002<\/p><p>AIUTA\u662f\u4e00\u500b\u532f\u805a\u4f86\u81ea\u5168\u7403\u5404\u5730\u8001\u5e74\u5927\u5b78\u7684\u570b\u969b\u6027\u7d44\u7e54\uff0c\u7232\u570b\u969b\u4e0a\u5177\u5f71\u97ff\u529b\u7684\u7b2c\u4e09\u9f61\u975e\u653f\u5e9c\u7d44\u7e54\uff0c\u532f\u805a\u4e94\u5927\u6d32\u6703\u54e1\u3002\u672c\u6b21\u6703\u8b70\u9810\u8a08\u5438\u5f15\u903e\u767e\u540d\u4f86\u81ea18\u500b\u570b\u5bb6\u53ca\u5730\u5340\uff08\u4e2d\u570b\u53ca\u9999\u6e2f\u4ee5\u5916\uff09\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u6cd5\u570b\u3001\u5370\u5ea6\u3001\u97d3\u570b\u3001\u99ac\u4f86\u897f\u4e9e\u3001\u6cf0\u570b\u3001\u54c8\u85a9\u514b\u65af\u5766\u3001\u65af\u6d1b\u4f10\u514b\u3001\u65b0\u52a0\u5761\u3001\u6fb3\u6d32\u3001\u82f1\u570b\u3001\u8461\u8404\u7259\u3001\u897f\u73ed\u7259\u3001\u52a0\u62ff\u5927\u3001\u82ac\u862d\u3001\u57c3\u53ca\u3001\u5357\u975e\u3001\u5b5f\u52a0\u62c9\u570b\u53ca\u5c3c\u65e5\u5229\u4e9e\u7684\u4ee3\u8868\u53c3\u8207\u3002<\/p><p>\u5370\u5ea6\u746a\u54c8\u7279\u746a\u7518\u5730\u5927\u5b78 (Mahatma Gandhi University) \u8001\u5e74\u5927\u5b78\u66f4\u5c07\u6d3e\u51fa23\u4eba\u4ee3\u8868\u5718\u51fa\u5e2d\uff0c\u8a72\u5927\u5b78\u70ba\u5370\u5ea6\u9802\u5c16\u7814\u7a76\u578b\u5b78\u5e9c\uff082025\u5e74\u6cf0\u6664\u58eb\u9ad8\u7b49\u6559\u80b2\u4e16\u754c\u6392\u540d401-500\uff09\uff0c\u4ea6\u662f\u5370\u5ea6\u9996\u9593\u6210\u7acb\u7b2c\u4e09\u9f61\u5927\u5b78\u7684\u6a5f\u69cb\u3002\u5176\u4ed6\u77e5\u540d\u8207\u6703\u8005\u5305\u62ec\u746a\u54c8\u7279\u746a\u7518\u5730\u5927\u5b78 (Mahatma Gandhi University) \u6821\u9577 CT Aravindakumar \u6559\u6388\u3001\u54c8\u85a9\u514b\u65af\u5766\u74e6\u5229\u54c8\u8afe\u592b\u5927\u5b78 (Ualikhanov University) \u526f\u6821\u9577 Zhakupova Aigul \u6559\u6388\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u62c9\u5854\u7d0d\u79d1\u8f9b\u7687\u5bb6\u7406\u5de5\u5927\u5b78(Rajamanghala University of Technology Rattanakosin) \u526f\u6821\u9577 Akera Ratchavieng \u6559\u6388\u3002\u4e2d\u570b\u4ee3\u8868\u5718\u5247\u7531\u5317\u4eac\uff08\u570b\u5bb6\u958b\u653e\u5927\u5b78\uff09\u3001\u5ee3\u5dde\uff08\u5ee3\u6771\u958b\u653e\u5927\u5b78\uff09\u53ca\u83ef\u6771\u5e2b\u7bc4\u5927\u5b78\u7d42\u8eab\u5b78\u7fd2\u7814\u7a76\u9662\u7684\u9802\u5c16\u8001\u5e74\u5927\u5b78\u5c08\u5bb6\u3001\u6559\u6388\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u4e2d\u570b\u8001\u5e74\u5927\u5b78\u5354\u6703\u9818\u5c0e\u7d44\u6210\u3002<\/p><p>\u9999\u6e2f\u90fd\u6703\u5927\u5b78\u6821\u9577\u6797\u7fa4\u8072\u6559\u6388\u65bc\u958b\u5e55\u81f4\u8fad\u4e0a\u8868\u793a\uff1a\u300c\u6211\u5011\u5f88\u9ad8\u8208\u80fd\u8207\u570b\u969b\u8001\u5e74\u5927\u5b78\u5354\u6703\u5171\u540c\u4e3b\u8fa6\u9019\u500b\u5145\u6eff\u4ee3\u8868\u6027\u7684\u6d3b\u52d5\uff0c\u6709\u6a5f\u6703\u8207\u5404\u570b\u5c08\u5bb6\u4e00\u8d77\u5206\u4eab\u7d93\u9a57\u3001\u63a8\u52d5\u6539\u9769\u5275\u65b0\uff0c\u7de0\u9020\u793e\u6703\u6548\u76ca\u3002\u4eca\u5e74\u6211\u5011\u6709\u5e78\u9080\u8acb\u5230\u4f86\u81ea18\u500b\u570b\u5bb6\u548c\u5730\u5340\u7684\u591a\u4f4d\u5609\u8cd3\u8b1b\u8005\uff0c\u70ba\u6211\u5011\u7684\u8a0e\u8ad6\u6ce8\u5165\u8c50\u5bcc\u7684\u77e5\u8b58\u548c\u65b0\u89c0\u9ede\u3002\u4eca\u5929\u5728\u5834\u6240\u6709\u51fa\u5e2d\u7684\u5609\u8cd3\u662f\u6211\u5011\u5171\u540c\u81f4\u529b\u63a8\u52d5\u9577\u8005\u7d42\u8eab\u5b78\u7fd2\u7684\u898b\u8b49\u3002\u300e\u4e9e\u6d32\u570b\u969b\u6703\u8b702025\u300f\u70ba\u6211\u5011\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u4e00\u500b\u4ea4\u6d41\u5be6\u8e10\u3001\u555f\u52d5\u65b0\u5408\u4f5c\u4ee5\u53ca\u63a2\u7d22\u5275\u65b0\u7814\u7a76\u7684\u6700\u4f73\u5e73\u53f0\uff0c\u9019\u4e9b\u5c07\u6709\u52a9\u5851\u9020\u672a\u4f86\u9577\u8005\u6559\u80b2\u7684\u8da8\u52e2\u3002\u300d<\/p><p>\u672c\u6b21\u6703\u8b70\u70ba\u9999\u6e2f\u90fd\u6703\u5927\u5b78\u9577\u8005\u5b78\u82d1\uff08EAMU\uff09\u63d0\u4f9b\u5e73\u53f0\uff0c\u5c55\u793a\u517616\u5e74\u4f86\u70ba\u903e17,000\u540d\u9577\u8005\u63d0\u4f9b\u591a\u5143\u5b78\u7fd2\u8ab2\u7a0b\u7684\u7d93\u9a57\u3002HKMU
