Hong Kong Metropolitan University Li Ka Shing Institute of Professional and Continuing Education (HKMU LiPACE) has launched the five-month long “International Lifelong Learning Festival”, to provide students with immersive learning experiences about international cultures. This initiative aims to provide students with immersive learning experiences about \u201cinternationalization-in-place\u201d, \u201cintercultural awareness\u201d, and \u201cinclusiveness\u201d as the fundamental elements of co-curricular learning.<\/p>

Following the successful launch of its collaboration with the Consulates General of Finland, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Japan and Hungary, HKMU LiPACE is pleased to continue this initiative with India. The sixth major event in this series is entitled “Incredible India”. On January 21, 2025, Ms. Satwant Khanalia, Consul General of India in Hong Kong, joined Professor Reggie Kwan, the Provost of HKMU, to inaugurate the new Yoga Room \u201cYogashala\u201d at the Kwai Hing campus.<\/p>

The new Yoga Room \u201cYogashala\u201d is a collaborative effort between HKMU LiPACE and the Consulate General of India in Hong Kong. The studio is equipped with yoga mats made from recycled cork and donated by the Consulate. Artworks by Indian artists in Hong Kong are displayed both inside and outside the yoga studio, witnessing the friendship and cultural exchange between Hong Kong and India. Starting from January 22, 2025, HKMU LiPACE plans to organize different free body-mind activities in the yoga studio, such as yoga, singing bowl and meditation, allowing HKMU LiPACE students to relax amidst their busy academic lives.<\/p>

After the inauguration of the yoga studio, there was a movie screening of Indian comedy film \u201cZindagi Na Milegi Dobara\u201d. Through the journey of three friends on a road trip, the film humorously explores themes of friendship, love, and self-discovery, while showcasing a glimpse into India's diverse culture tapestry. The Consul General expressed her concern about the importance of mental well-being for youngsters, before she joined over 100 students at the screening. Dr. Benjamin Chan Tak-yuen, Dean of HKMU LiPACE, expressed in his closing remarks his hope for continued collaboration with the Consulate General of India in Hong Kong to provide students with more opportunities to learn about India’s diverse culture. Following the movie screening, participants enjoyed authentic Indian snacks and beverages, to immerse themselves in the vibrant flavors and culture of India.<\/p>

The “International Lifelong Learning Festival” offers a variety of activities that provide participants with a cultural adventure, including the opportunity to explore different countries through films and books, as well as to savor authentic cuisine. Each event in the series has been well-received, with high levels of enthusiastic participation.<\/p>

\u9999\u6e2f\u90fd\u6703\u5927\u5b78\u674e\u5609\u8aa0\u5c08\u696d\u9032\u4fee\u5b78\u9662 (HKMU LiPACE) \u5f9e2024\u5e749\u6708\u8d77\u958b\u5c55\u7232\u671f\u4e94\u500b\u6708\u7684\u300c\u570b\u969b\u6587\u5316\u5468\u300d\uff0c\u8b93\u5b78\u751f\u6c89\u6d78\u5f0f\u9ad4\u9a57\u53ca\u5b78\u7fd2\u5176\u4ed6\u570b\u5bb6\u7684\u6587\u5316\u8207\u77e5\u8b58\uff0c\u63d0\u5021\u300c\u5728\u5730\u570b\u969b\u5316\u300d\u3001\u300c\u8de8\u6587\u5316\u610f\u8b58\u300d\u548c\u300c\u5171\u878d\u300d\uff0c\u4f5c\u70ba\u806f\u8ab2\u5b78\u7fd2\u7684\u6838\u5fc3\uff0c\u5e6b\u52a9\u5efa\u7acb\u878d\u548c\u7684\u5b78\u751f\u7fa4\u9ad4\u3002<\/p>

\u7e7c\u65e9\u524d\u8207\u82ac\u862d\u3001\u6d25\u5df4\u5e03\u97cb\u3001\u57c3\u53ca\u3001\u5308\u7259\u5229\u53ca\u65e5\u672c\u99d0\u6e2f\u9818\u4e8b\u9928\u5408\u4f5c\u8209\u8fa6\u570b\u969b\u6587\u5316\u5468\u6d3b\u52d5\u5f8c\uff0cHKMU LiPACE\u65bc2025\u5e741\u670821\u65e5\u8207\u5370\u5ea6\u99d0\u6e2f\u9818\u4e8b\u9928\u5408\u4f5c\u8209\u8fa6\u7b2c\u516d\u5834\u6587\u5316\u4ea4\u6d41\u6d3b\u52d5\u3002\u5370\u5ea6\u99d0\u9999\u6e2f\u7e3d\u9818\u4e8b Satwant Khanalia \u5973\u58eb\u89aa\u81e8HKMU LiPACE\u8475\u8208\u6821\u5712\uff0c\u8207\u9999\u6e2f\u90fd\u6703\u5927\u5b78\u5b78\u8853\u526f\u6821\u9577\u95dc\u6e05\u5e73\u6559\u6388\uff0c\u4e00\u540c\u70ba\u65b0\u843d\u6210\u7684\u745c\u4f3d\u6559\u5ba4\u4e3b\u6301\u63ed\u5e55\u5100\u5f0f\u3002<\/p>

\u745c\u4f3d\u6559\u5ba4\u662fHKMU LiPACE\u53ca\u5370\u5ea6\u99d0\u6e2f\u9818\u4e8b\u9928\u7684\u5408\u4f5c\u6210\u679c\u3002\u6559\u5ba4\u5167\u653e\u7f6e\u4e86\u7531\u5370\u5ea6\u99d0\u6e2f\u9818\u4e8b\u9928\u6350\u589e\uff0c\u4ee5\u8edf\u6728\u585e\u5faa\u74b0\u518d\u9020\u800c\u6210\u7684\u745c\u4f3d\u588a\u3002\u745c\u4f3d\u6559\u5ba4\u5167\u5916\u5747\u653e\u7f6e\u4e86\u5728\u6e2f\u5370\u5ea6\u85dd\u8853\u5bb6\u7684\u756b\u4f5c\uff0c\u898b\u8b49\u4e86\u5169\u5730\u53cb\u597d\u53ca\u6587\u5316\u4ea4\u6d41\u3002\u75312025\u5e741\u670822\u65e5\u958b\u59cb\uff0cHKMU LiPACE\u66f4\u8a08\u5283\u5728\u745c\u4f3d\u6559\u5ba4\u5b89\u6392\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u8eab\u5fc3\u9748\u6d3b\u52d5\u8b93\u5b78\u751f\u514d\u8cbb\u53c3\u52a0\uff0c\u4f8b\u5982\u745c\u4f3d\u3001\u980c\u7f3d\u53ca\u6253\u5750\u51a5\u60f3\u7b49\uff0c\u8b93\u4ed6\u5011\u5728\u7e41\u5fd9\u5b78\u7fd2\u751f\u6d3b\u4e2d\u5f97\u5230\u653e\u9b06\u3002<\/p>

\u63ed\u5e55\u5100\u5f0f\u5f8c\uff0cHKMU LiPACE \u7279\u5225\u653e\u6620\u5370\u5ea6\u6210\u9577\u559c\u5287\u96fb\u5f71\u2014\u2014\u300aZindagi Na Milegi Dobara\u300b\uff0c\u900f\u904e\u4e09\u500b\u597d\u53cb\u4e00\u8d77\u65c5\u884c\u7684\u6545\u4e8b\uff0c\u4ee5\u5e7d\u9ed8\u8a7c\u8ae7\u7684\u65b9\u5f0f\u5e36\u51fa\u53cb\u60c5\u3001\u611b\u60c5\u548c\u81ea\u6211\u767c\u73fe\u7684\u4e3b\u984c\uff0c \u4ee5\u53ca\u5c55\u793a\u5370\u5ea6\u7684\u591a\u5143\u6587\u5316\u3002Khanalia\u7e3d\u9818\u4e8b\u5728\u81f4\u8a5e\u6642\u5f37\u8abf\u5e74\u8f15\u4eba\u5fc3\u7406\u5065\u5eb7\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u6027\uff0c\u4e26\u8207\u8d85\u904e100\u540d\u53c3\u52a0\u8005\u4e00\u8d77\u89c0\u770b\u96fb\u5f71\u3002\u9662\u9577\u66fe\u5fb7\u6e90\u535a\u58eb\u5247\u5728\u9589\u5e55\u8a5e\u4e2d\u8868\u793a\u671f\u671b\u8207\u5370\u5ea6\u7e3d\u9818\u4e8b\u9928\u5c07\u4f86\u7e7c\u7e8c\u6301\u7e8c\u5408\u4f5c\uff0c\u4ee4\u5b78\u751f\u6709\u66f4\u591a\u6a5f\u6703\u8a8d\u8b58\u5370\u5ea6\u7684\u591a\u5143\u6587\u5316\u3002\u96fb\u5f71\u653e\u6620\u5f8c\u8a2d\u5370\u5ea6\u7279\u8272\u5c0f\u5403\u548c\u98f2\u54c1\u6dfa\u5690\u74b0\u7bc0\uff0c\u8b93\u53c3\u52a0\u8005\u611f\u53d7\u6eff\u6eff\u7684\u5370\u5ea6\u98a8\u60c5\uff0c\u589e\u9032\u5169\u5730\u7684\u6587\u5316\u4ea4\u6d41\u3002<\/p>
