Showcasing over 120 precious items from renowned Chinese writer Eileen Chang and her close friends Stephen Soong and Mae Fong Soong, the Museum will open to the public with free admission and guided tours available by appointment starting 21 November.<br \/><br \/>The opening ceremony was officiated by Mr Cheuk Wing-hing, Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration of the HKSAR Government; Dr Roland Soong and his sister Mrs Elaine Soong Kingman, administrators of Eileen Chang's estate; HKMU President Prof. Paul Lam Kwan-sing; and Vice President (Administration and Corporate Development) Prof. Charles Kwong Che-leung. Over 200 guests witnessed this significant milestone in the preservation of literary heritage.<br \/><br \/>Located at the HKMU Main Campus in Ho Man Tin, the Museum requires advance online registration for all visitors, as walk-ins are not permitted.
