and<\/li><li>Braille Display (Focus 40 Blue) &#8211;<br \/>accessing Braille to control computer.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p>* The SEN workstation can be booked by calling the Library at 2768 6778 or contacting staff at the Service Counter.<\/p><ul><li>SEN Software:<ul><li>JAWS 2025 (a screen-reading software with a text-to-speech output or by a refreshable Braille display);<\/li><li>ZoomText 2025 (a screen-reading software that combines magnification and reading features);<\/li><li>\u5149\u5b78\u6587\u5b57\u8fa8\u8b58(OCR)\u8edf\u4ef6 (a software to convert the scanned documents into text files);<\/li><li>Speechnotes (a speech to text online notepad);<\/li><li>NVDA (a screen-reading software); and<\/li><li>BRITE \u4eae\u9ede (a versatile Braille translation editing program that enables seamless two-way translation between Braille and regular text).<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Barrier Free Facilities:<ul><li>Accessible entrance\/exit;<\/li><li>Accessible lift;<\/li><li>Wheelchaired stair lift;<\/li><li>Accessible service counter and discussion table with height suitable;<\/li><li>Accessible Toilets;<\/li><li>CityGeni mobile app; and<\/li><li>Audio and visual signals of the emergency alarm system \/ Visual Fire Alarm System.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Various activities in collaboration with the Student Affairs Office (SAO) for relaxation and cosiness for mental health:<ul><li>&#8220;1-day U-life Experience @HKMU&#8221; for your patients with rare diseases\u00a0 to promote care and inclusion on campus (February 2025)<\/li><li>Theme Talk Series with Therapy Animals (March 2025);<\/li><li>HKMU Wellness Fest 2025<ul><li>Yoga Class (October 2025)<\/li><li>Woof &amp; The App provides audio and text navigation for some outdoor and indoor venues in Hong Kong which allows people-in-need to walk around independently. Venue partners include government departments, shopping malls and hospitals. HKMU and its Library are <strong>the first higher education institution and library in Hong Kong<\/strong> to participate in the &#8220;Smart City Walk&#8221; project.
