Library precautionary measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic 12-1-2022
In efforts to reduce the risk of the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the following precautionary measures are in place:
1. Campus libraries open to HKMU active students and staff only
The HKMU campus libraries will provide access to HKMU active students and staff only starting from 15 January 2022 until the COVID-19 outbreak has subsided. For those who are affected by this arrangement, the Library will extend the validity of their Library Reader’s/Borrower’s Ticket based on the duration of the restricted access period accordingly.
2. Wear a mask when entering the Library
All users are required to wear a mask at all times in the Library for their own and others' protection. Users who refuse to wear a mask will be asked to leave the Library immediately. Repeated violators will have their access to the campus libraries suspended for 7 calendar days.
3. Maintain social distancing
All library users are required to maintain social distancing when using the campus libraries.
Any updates on the above arrangements will be posted on the Library website.
Thank you for your co-operation. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience caused.
